Our Story
Our Journey of Faith
Celebrating God’s faithfulness from 1976 to 2026.
From a humble House Prayer Fellowship, All Saints’ Tamil Church [C.N.I.] has grown through prayer, service, education, fellowship, and outreach. In 2026, we give thanks for 50 years of God’s faithfulness.
Who We Are
All Saints’ Tamil Church [C.N.I.], Govandi, was established in 1976 and continues to serve as a place of worship, fellowship, and community care.
Through Sunday worship, youth and children’s ministries, Women’s Fellowship, Vacation Bible School, and outreach activities, the church seeks to share the gospel and glorify God.
The church also supports the wider community through meaningful social service, while All Saints English School provides education to around 900 students up to SSC.
Our mission is to share God’s love, hope, and salvation with the world.

Our History
A timeline of God’s faithfulness
1976 — Founded
All Saints’ Tamil Church [C.N.I.] began as a humble House Prayer Fellowship.
Early Spiritual Leadership
Aaseervadham Iyya, James Paul Iyya, Chandrakumar Iyya, Mr. Moses (Preacher), and John Devaraj (First Catechist) were early spiritual leaders.
1988 — Education Ministry
The Education Ministry began in 1988. The school started on 28 August 1988, guided by James Paul Iyya and initiated by Pushpam Chelladurai and John Devaraj.
Church Growth
The school grew from 12 students to more than 850 students, while the church building was renovated four times to accommodate congregation growth.
Ministries and Outreach
Women’s Fellowship, Children’s Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School were established during the 1980s and 1990s. The Open Convention Ministry welcomed more than 200 people and involved more than 25 preachers.
